"Tumaini," the Swahili word for hope, is the name of the facility that houses the support teams of AIM , WBTI , and associate counselors.

The counselling, psychiatric, and pastoral care services are provided for AIM and WBTI missionaries, as well as missionaries from approximately 160 different mission organizations serving in East and Central Africa and beyond.  Others in ministry are welcome to access services when the Centre has the staff capacity to respond.
